The ZiS 30 was a Soviet desperate attempt to build a tank destroyer. Started by Garbin's design bureau at the Gorky plant no.92 in 1941, this was simply taking the 57mm ZiS 2 gun, which was one of the most powerful anti tank guns of its time, and mounting it on a Komsomoltes Artillery Tractor. The gunner and loader were exposed to enemy fire as it frontal plate was extremely thin and it had no armor to the sides and rear. Despite this draw back it was successful as a TD thanks to the gun.

This is the tier I Russian Tank destroyer. It is one of the smallest vehicles in Armored Aces and it combines mobility and firepower making it a fun tank to drive. The good rate of fire and high damage (highest for its tier) let's you deal a substantial amount of damage even to higher tier tanks. The biggest advantage over other fixed casemate TD's is it's wide firing arc. You can even side scrape other vehicles and still hit them. It also turns very quick making it easy to keep charging tanks to your front especially when combined with the firing arc. It's best used in the support role since it has low HP and can therefore be dispatched quickly when targeted. The biggest drawback is the almost non existant gun depression but the mobility helps you negate that disadvantage pretty quick.
