Updates:

  • 3.1.0 :
  • Reload times reduced : All vehicles have their reload times reduced by 10%
  • T30 Boosted : It now takes less damage at front turret about 55%, has +25 damage output from 525 to 550 and reduced reload time from 12 to 10.8 secs. Also all boost slots are now available.
  • M36B2 nerfed : It now takes 105% damage frontally and 90% or more at the sides. It is like tier 7.
  • T28 nerfed : It now takes 110% damage at side rear 1/3 portion.
  • M18 Helcat nerfed : It now takes 105% damage frontally and 90% or more at the sides. It is like tier 4.
  • New Boost system like drone wars, having 5 upgrade slots of +5% each for a total of +25% boost in each attribute plus specific perks.
    A) Boosting firepower increases damage output, lowers aim time and ricochet chance, while it increases accuracy and the chance to put the enemy tank on fire even from frontal shots. At level 4 you get fire extinguisher.
    B) Boosting armor gives you more hit points, more damage reduction, higher ricochet chance and at level 3 gives you fire extinguisher.
    C) Boosting speed makes you faster, more agile, your turret turns faster and at level 3 you get fire extinguisher.
    D) Boosting optics extends your view range.
  • Damage system changed to be more like drone wars. Now damage to turret is increased by 10-20% and rear hull damage is increased to x2 from x1.5 prior.
    - Modern era NEW damage model, before damage reduction is taken into account.
    A) Hull Front : 65% ,5% variance between shots and -10% vs higher tier, +10% vs lower tier
    - Sides : 105% ,5% variance between shots and -10% vs higher tier, +10% vs lower tier
    - Rear : 200%, 5% variance between shots and -10% vs higher tier, +10% vs lower tier
    B) Turret Front : 70% ,5% variance between shots and -10% vs higher tier, +10% vs lower tier
    - Sides : 80% , 5% variance between shots and -10% vs higher tier, +10% vs lower tier
    - Rear :85% , 5% variance between shots and -10% vs higher tier, +10% vs lower tier
    - The changes in WW2 damage modeling are way too chaotic to figure out and we have no dev input.

  • VR system a bit changed with higher VR values per tier now and lower VR values for ACE tanks.
  • Random game categories changed :

- Low category = tiers 1 up to 3.
- Mid category = tiers 4 up to 6 with VR of up to 29.9, tier 6 with VR 30 or more plays 90% of games in mid category and 10% in top category.
- Top category = tier 7 and higher.

  • Upgrading system changed to be as drone wars. You have 3 guns and 4 tiers in each upgrade category and you need to wait for hours for the upgrade to "finish" before moving to the next item. You can now choose the gun you use from 3 available models, each with its own reload time and other attributes.
  • Introduction of Renault FT17 as tier 1 in French tank line.

3.0.0 : - New game physics engine. No more flying tanks, no snap turns, no dancing dogfights, vehicles now feel more like tanks with lots of inertia and not any more like nimble beach buggies.

  • OTM (Other Tank name Markers) with HP are back on the HUD for all tier battles. Before update 3.0.0 at high tier battles they only appeared when the sight cross hair was on target.
  • Terrain is more treacherous to cross since tanks are more realistically modeled with different engine power and gear boxes meaning different handling and obstacle crossing capability for each vehicle.
  • Peek a Boo is almost impossible since Tanks now have lots of inertia, they feel like boats floating on land, meaning they accelerate slowly and have sloppy braking, making precision control quite improbable.
  • All tanks now have unique gun barrel bounce after firing.
  • Aiming reticle is slower to settle, meaning more difficult aiming, especially when vehicle is laterally inclined in banking angle or in rough terrain.
  • Decreased Gun Accuracy = Increased chance for shots to miss.
  • Introduction of engine fire mechanic. Random chance for any shot to set the engine on fire, dealing damage over time and slowing the tank to a crawl. Can be averted by buying level 3 armor consumable.
  • Introduction of T-46-1 in the tier 2 Russian experimental line.
  • Introduction of T-34 Malyj in the tier 1 Russian experimental line.
  • New skin for BT-7 in the tier 2 Russian tank line.
  • Jeseniky Map a.k.a Summer mountain, has new ramp passage at E7-D8 next to "Derp Gorge tunnel"

2.6.4 :

  • introduction of A-32 in the tier 3 Russian experimental line.
  • Increased ricochet chance at higher angles of incidence as was intended since the game begun.

2.6.3 :

  • Introduction of T34M in the tier 4 Russian experimental line.
  • Increased damage output variability making damage scoring less predictable.
  • Reduced rear damage area, crippling the chance to get extra x1,5 damage.
  • Reduced aiming accuracy, making hitting weak spots almost a random occurrence.

2.6.2 :

  • Introduction of KV-220 (object 220) in the tier 5 Russian experimental line
  • notification indicator in after battle results screen
  • New brigade war rules (whatever the hell this means, since the devs never report game rules anywhere.) According to gamer ign "Thorr Van der Wals" the rules are

1. All inactive brigades can not be challenged, so good bye free points.
2.Top brigades can not challenge weak or newborn brigades, they can challenge only brigades from near rank 14 positions, so in this new update, you can scroll to see about 31 brigades near you in the leader board.
3. Brigades will be advanced scanned all the time for cheaters and all cheated accounts will be banned forever.
4. Brigade Wars quantity  is limited Monday to Friday to 8 wars per day, Saturday 12 and Sunday 10.
