The T34 was arguably one of the most revolutionary vehicles of its time. Developed from a Christie chassis that gave them high speeds and incorporating sloped armor made it give the German's a nasty suprise when they invaded. It became the most heavily produced Russian vehicle of the war and at the time of it's introduction was superior to any enemy armor it faced as it's gun could easily destroy Panzer III's and early model Panzer IV's while their shots would deflect off it's sloped armor. It put a rush on German tanks designs like the Panther and Tiger to counter them and caused the PZ IV to recieve a firepower and armor upgrade.
Dmitry Lavrinenko was the most successful T34 commander of the war and had the highest number of enemy tanks knocked out of any Allied Ace. What's more impressive is he achieved all this in about 2.5 months of combat as he was killed in 1941. His tank knocked out 58 tanks and self propelled guns before he was killed by mortar fire.

This is the Russian tier IV Ace tank. It has good all around mobility, protection and firepower and has boosted stats over the standard T34/76 and is even more powerful than the KV-1. Like all Russian tanks can bounce a lot of shells due to their sloped design. It will likely almost always face at least one higher tier tank though this is only remotely inferior to a tier V in stats. Tier V Ace tanks will probably be your greatest threat.
